‘Scooter’ is a fever dream. A delirious construction inspired by travel and migration, by impossibly overloaded cargo bikes, by mules, by beasts of burden, by chrome plated minibuses adorned with religious iconography, crammed with passengers and piled high with crates of chickens, engine parts, lumber, and mysterious tarp-wrapped bales of stuff.

‘Scooter’ is an idea rather than a definitive object. Assembled from an array of disparate objects each with their own story to tell. The objects are wedged, balanced, and strapped together in a temporary configuration never quite put together in the same way twice.

This was the 2nd iteration of the piece and was exhibited as part of the FLAMM 2026 Art Festival in Bodmin, Cornwall.
