Potato Spaceship
Hollowed out asteroids as living spaces are a staple of science fiction and have also been suggested as the basis for spacecraft most notably in Greg Bear’s 1985 novel Eon featuring the asteroid Juno (also referred to as The Potato). “Potato Spaceship” is both a celebration of the human desire to create, investigate, and explore, and a visual pun substituting a humble potato for an asteroid.
